Who we are

Hi everyone, we’re Pauline and Ryan, the husband-and-wife team behind Flora Mystica. Welcome to our farm! The Flora Mystica flower farm garden plot sits on the Copithorne family ranch, just west of Calgary, Alberta in the community of Springbank. Pauline is the fifth generation of her family to raise plants and animals on this land and she and Ryan take pride in being stewards of this beautiful place.

Pauline first started here with a hobby farm and garden in 2013. After growing veggies for several years, she decided to try growing a small floral cutting garden in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the entire process - from seed to bloom - and the sense of fulfillment that came from tending the garden and watching it grow. The following summer the entire growing space was transformed into flower beds, allowing this new passion to be shared with others and grow into a business.

After a few years of change and transition, Flora Mystica stepped into a new chapter in 2025. Pauline was joined by her husband, Ryan, and together they continue to grow the flower farm, guided by the love of the land. We’re grateful to share this season - and all the seasons to come - with our community.
